About Steph | Resume

Steph is an archivist who currently works in New Jersey, the state where she grew up, just outside of NYC. She is a December 2014 graduate of Pratt Institute with a Master's degree in library science with a focus in archival studies. She has a New Jersey State Library Certification and is a member of the Society of American Archivists. A history major and Civil War Era Studies minor as an undergraduate at Gettysburg College, she also loves baseball, comedy history, cycling, playing weird video games, her cats and Old English Sheepdogs, and writing and drawing comics. 

Steph is the founder of the Autistic Gaming Initiative, a group of autistic gamers livestreaming once a month for charities run by and for autistic people. For more on this, visit the AGI website here

Jewish Historical Society of North Jersey, October 2016-present
  • Archivist
    • Answer research questions sent to the society
    • Creating a database to provide finding aids and increased collection access 
    • Oversee a sizeable number of volunteers who work on various projects including collection inventories

The Riverside Church of New York, July-November 2016
  • Archival project temp
    • Inventoried over 200 boxes of audio reels in preparation for a Hidden Collections grant application.
    • Created database entries for each audio reel in Microsoft SharePoint documenting metadata and providing extra historical context and content where applicable.
